Hello and welcome to my site!
One of the things I enjoy most is the process of building a painting. Most of the time, I have a vision in my head about what I want to create and it typically evolves into something different as new ideas come into play and add to the original vision. Sometimes, I am just pleasantly surprised with the outcome when trying techniques new to me. Overall, I just enjoy this avenue of creativity. I look forward to honing my skills further and pushing myself in new directions.
I have always loved art and architecture. I went to The University of Colorado and, in 1989, I received my Bachelor’s of Environmental Design degree. I spent many years working in commercial architecture and then in residential design. My focus for the last 20 years has been raising my two daughters. Reaching a new chapter in my life, I decided I really want to focus on my art.
I look forward to my future, playing around with paint!
