Hello and welcome to my site!
My paintings are explorations of atmosphere and emotion—abstract landscapes shaped by layers of paint, paper, and texture. Working primarily in acrylic and collage on paper, canvas, or wood panel, I build depth through a process that is both intuitive and deliberate. Each layer reveals something unexpected, guiding me toward a balance between chaos and calm.
The environment of the Pacific Northwest deeply informs my work. Water, mountains, sky, and the structures we build among them all find their way into my visual language. I’m drawn to the quiet moments between movement and stillness—the feeling of air after rain, or the hush of fog over water.
Painting is an ongoing conversation for me—each piece a surprise, a reflection of where I am and where I’m headed next.
